Sara Yoffie

A San Francisco native, Sara Yoffie has been dancing and making choreography her entire life.
She has studied with SF Ballet, Pascale Leroy, Academy of Ballet and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. She’s also completed intensives with Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago, Complexions in New York, LINES Ballet in San Francisco and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York.
Sara is a graduate of the Conservatory Dance Program at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts. At SOTA she choreographed, staged and danced in too many pieces to list here. The two biggest were The Rise and This Is A Dangerous Place, each featuring more than a dozen dancers.
At SOTA, Sara received the Yvonne McClung Choreography Award. In her senior year, she received the Trustee’s Merit Scholarship for Creative Leadership from University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
In May of 2025, Sara completed her first year in the professional division of The Ailey School.
